-the Captain Alatriste series is very very worth it.....finished Captain Alatriste and Purity of Blood in Nova Scotia. Now reading the latest Sun over Breda. According to imdb.com there is a Captain Alatriste movie that has been shown already in Spain with Viggo Mortensen. Hope we get it here.

PEI is wonderful, huh? Scenery-wise I don't mind visiting it, but I don't think I could live there... I haven't been there in a while, something to do again one of these days. :)
I've been dying to read the Captain Alatriste books for ages, because I keep hearing wonderful things about them...but having them combined with Viggo Mortenson (which, even though I HAVE NOT READ A WORD OF THESE BOOKS, just sits in my brain as UTTERLY PERFECT) has me bouncing in my seat. Must get to them quickly.
I bought Captain Alatriste today. I'm going to start it this weekend wheh I fly to Kansas City for a wedding. :)
